Privacy

Browsing and downloading

You don't need an account. Browsing and downloading set no cookies and we don't use tracking or advertising scripts. We count views and downloads per image, without recording who you are. So that refreshing a page doesn't count twice, we keep a scrambled code made from your connection and browser (not your IP address itself) and delete it after about a day.

Like every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, for a limited time.

Accounts

An account is optional. If you create one, we store your first name, last name (if you give it), username, email address, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password, and the dates you signed up and confirmed your address. Your username is public: it is shown with the images you share. Your name and email address are not shown on the site.

We use your address only for account emails: confirming it, resetting your password, confirming changes and telling you whether a submitted image was published. We don't send marketing emails and we don't share your address. Images you submit are kept with your account while we review them; uploads you never send are deleted after a day.

Signing in sets one strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in until you sign out or close your browser. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 7 days. To delete your account, email us from the address you sign in with.

Report form

If you send a report, we store your name, email address, message and IP address so we can investigate and reply. Opening the form sets one strictly necessary session cookie that protects it against forged submissions. We delete reports once they are resolved and no longer needed.
